MORE ABOUT ISOSSY AND THE CONCEPT...

The concept for Isossy Children is using African and Asian textile influences to create a designer contemporary collection for girls. It is also about offering exclusive individual limited edition prints in certain styles.

Amandas venture into childrenswear was first realised in 1994 through a label called Culture Kidz. It was started through a loan from The Princes Youth Business Trust. Amanda says "The experience of doing Culture Kidz was invaluable to me. I had a lot of support and I learnt the basics". Fast forward 15 years and Isossy Children is borne.

Isossy Children is a celebration of colour, vivacity, global influences and fashion. It offers children and parents choice, style and design. Thats why many of the peices are limited edition prints. "It keeps our style unique and fresh. We want you to visit the website frequently with the knowledge that our styles and colours will change offering you new choices for all occasions " says Amanda.

Isossy Children is about transcending the cultural barriers and creating collections reflective of our times for global living.

FABRICS

The fabrics are chosen for their aesthetics and suitability in creating dynamic and exciting collections. The fabrics are 100% natural and as such irregularities and imperfections may be noticed. The African prints are all 100% cotton as are the plain complimentary fabrics. The linings are 100% cotton.
The Asian influenced fabrics are incorporated into the party dresses. We use 100% silk in bright colours with beaded trimmings. The linings are cotton voile. As the collection develops, an exploration of cultural trends will impact on the designs and fabric choices.
Many of the prints are limited editions. Some pieces will only be available in runs of between 50-100 pieces. This keeps the collection fresh and exclusive. Due to the limitations on fabric choices please expect variations from time to time. You will be alerted should this be the case. We aim to show images of all the variations available and show how many are left.
